2011 Tacoma Freedom Fair
Celebrating the Centennial
of Naval Aviation
July 1, 3 & 4, 2011
In 2011, we’re joining with the US Navy to celebrate their
Centennial of Naval Aviation – annual Freedom Fair activities will be
expanded to fill four exciting days!
On July 1st, plan to attend that Tacoma Rainiers game, which
includes a fabulous fireworks display to kick off the Centennial weekend
on Military Aviation Night at Cheney Stadium.
July 3rd will find us at the Tacoma Narrows Airport in Gig Harbor for “Freedom Fair Wings and Wheels,”
featuring an outstanding air show, car show, and motorcycle show, as well as live
entertainment, displays, vendors, and flying demonstrations.
On July 4th, finally, the big event all along the Ruston Way waterfront!! Join us all day on the 4th of July for Freedom Fair, featuring all the usual 4th of July activities, airshows, great food, vendors, exhibits, rides, and events - along with a lot of very exciting new ones! It's the South Sound's biggest annual event, and a party that you don't want to miss, which ends with the Northwest's biggest firework show over Puget Sound!
